Delete inside the app
- Open PlantRoam and sign in to the account.
- Open Profile.
- Select Delete account data.
- Type DELETE and select Permanently delete account.
For security, PlantRoam requires a recent authenticated session. If asked, sign in again and repeat these steps.
If you cannot access the app
Email support@plantroam.com from the address associated with the account and write “PlantRoam account deletion request” in the subject. Do not send a password, one-time link, identity document, or authentication token. We will use a secure verification step before acting on the request.
What is deleted
- Your Supabase authentication identity and PlantRoam profile mapping.
- Synced Saved-place records associated with your account.
- Active authentication sessions.
- Other eligible private data directly linked to the account.
What may remain
Corrections and moderation history may remain only after account attribution is removed when necessary to preserve listing integrity. Minimal security, legal, backup, or non-identifying completion records may be retained where required. Provider backups expire under provider schedules.
In-app deletion is designed to complete immediately. Requests needing manual verification or exception handling are targeted for completion within 30 days.
Local device data
Recent searches, recently viewed places, and anonymous Saved places stored only on a device can be cleared in PlantRoam Settings or removed by uninstalling the app. This local data is not part of a server account.
